March 27, 2013, Pittsburgh, PA – State Representative Ed Gainey will announce that he is endorsing Bill Peduto for Mayor of Pittsburgh today at 2 p.m. at the People For Peduto headquarters, 200 N. Highland Ave., East Liberty.
“Bill Peduto is the best choice to be the next mayor of Pittsburgh,” Gainey says. “He has a track record of supporting working-class families, growing jobs by involving the community in development efforts, and growing the middle class by supporting labor.”
“I am honored to have Representative Gainey’s endorsement. His issues are the issues that I have fought for on city council – employment, community development, public safety, and opportunities for our young people,” says Peduto.

They are: Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, State Senator Wayne Fontana, State Representative Erin C.
