The East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) helps hundreds of people in Pittsburgh’s East End communities–from infants and children to a growing number of seniors–who don’t know where their next meal is coming from. This interfaith ministry’s Hunger Services programs include preparing and providing home-delivered meals to home-bound residents every weekday, operating a food pantry that provides emergency groceries and supplies and offers information on assistance programs, and a community kitchen which serves hot, free lunches every Monday through Friday.
On Thursday, March 6th, you can help EECM in their fight against hunger in the most delicious way possible–by eating Pittsburgh’s best pancakes! They’re holding an all-you-can-eat “Pancakes in the PM” event at Pamela’s in the Strip. Pamela’s P&G Diners is donating the food and time so all ticket proceeds can fully support EECM’s mission. And, here’s what you get for your $25.00:
Crepe-Style Hotcake Bar
Croissant French Toast
Bacon, Sausage, Hand-carved Ham
Bagels with Cream Cheese
Coffee, Tea, Soft Drinks
Open bar with Mimosas & Bloody Marys!
Tickets purchased before the event are $25.00 ($35.00 at the door). The price for kids is $10.00. Order your tickets now here. (If you can’t attend but still want to help, you can make a tax-deductible donation to the EECM Hunger Program at that link.)
