Seeing Green Downtown

Councilman Peduto and Max Beier

On Saturday, Councilman Bill Peduto marched in Pittsburgh’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade downtown with a group from The Pittsburgh Irish Design Centre.

This group’s energy, enthusiasm, and great display of green won them the title of first place in the overall design category! More than 20,000 people participated in the parade this year, and the crowd was estimated to be as large as 150,000 people.
